Lobster

Homarus gammarus

01
01 · EGG

Egg

A female lobster carries up to 20,000 eggs; in the wild only a tiny fraction reach adulthood. At our facility eggs are kept under natural seawater circulation.

02 · LARVA

Larva

The first weeks are the most critical. Larvae are raised on live feed in conditions close to the natural sea, rather than closed tanks.

03 · JUVENILE

Juvenile

Molting juveniles are monitored in separate units; growth and health data are recorded regularly.

04 · ADULT

Adult

Individuals ready for release retain their natural behaviour — the key difference of our method from conventional hatcheries.

05 · RELEASE

Sea Release

Individuals are released in a controlled manner into suitable habitats along the Rıva coast, and the area is monitored regularly.
